Touchdown
Club Plaque - Tippy Dye
This
is a plaque that would be given to members of the Touchdown Club, with years
added for added membership. This one belonged to a Mr. Hyde, and was given
during the years that Tippy Dye, who hired Bob Devaney as Head Coach in 1962,
was the Athletic Director. Tippy remained AD until Bob Devaney himself
took over the reigns of the Athletic Department in 1967. Leather trim
around a 6" square ceramic inset.

1970s
Football Helmet Coat Rack
Nice kids' coat hanger featuring the Cornhusker helmet. I am guessing that it is
from the late 1970s judging from the white face mask and Herbie, but may be from
the 1980s. Nebraska wore gray face masks until switching to red face masks for
the first time during the 1982 Orange Bowl against Clemson. It measures 12"
wide by 18" high, made of wood.
thanks
